I'm so excited! We're going to Disneyland for a solid week, starting on Easter Sunday, April 8th! :cool1:

Here's what I've got planned:

Character/Novelty Meals

Sunday Night, 6PM Goofy's Kitchen for Easter dinner

Wednesday Night, 6PM Rainforest Cafe for dinner

Friday Morning, Lilo & Stitch Breakfast at PPH

Touring Plans

Sunday night: Go to Disneyland after dinner and ride rides until the Fireworks at 9:25PM. After fireworks stay til closing @ Midnight.

Monday: Sleep in a little; get to the park by 9 or 10am. Leaning towards going to DCA. Will get a FP for Soarin', then catch ISBL & Muppet Show, as well as ride Screamin' (1st time for all of us. DS is finally tall enough! ). Then other rides, and will stick around for Block Party and Electrical Parade.

Tuesday: Using Early Entry for Disneyland. Will start in Fantasy Land and ride all those rides, and then continue to the other lands as the whim takes us. Will leave the park for lunch and a nap, then return to DL or DCA for rest of night.

Wednesday: Either DL or DCA. Leaning towards DL, hoping to catch the Jedi Academy and Disney Princess Fantasy Faire (if available). Lunch and Naps out of the park. Return for Parade of Dreams at 3:30PM in DL (if we haven't caught it yet). Rainforest Cafe for Dinner @ 5 or 6PM, Then return to DL for the fireworks again, or ignore them and go on rides all night. LOL :woohoo:

Thursday: Either DL or DCA (or we may just bounce around).

Friday: Lilo & Stitch Luau Breakfast at PPH around 8:30 or 9AM. Then back to the parks for one more full day of FUN!

Saturday: Possibly some time in one park before checking out @ 11AM at Hotel and catching Shuttle to Airport @ 1:30PM.

Whew! Sounds like alot, but there's alot of manuvering room in there too.

Anyone have any suggestions for things to add?

I thought about lunch at the Blue Bayou one afternoon, but I'm not sure the kids would enjoy it or not? Is it more for grown ups? DD is 9 and DS is almost 7.

Should I have one more character meal? Maybe another breakfast or lunch? I've heard mixed reports about Storytellers. My kids aren't really into the Brother Bear characters, and we've already done Minnie and Friends last trip.

Go ahead, and give me ideas! I LOVE this part of the planning. :yay:

This sounds wonderful!

My kids enjoyed BB at 7 & 9 years. They have kids menus.

My kids loved STC - the only characters they knew at that point were the Brother Bears, but they enjoyed the others, too.

for the Jedi Academy - we watched it a couple of times before we tried to get picked. If you're not sure you're kids will go for getting up on stage right away, have lunch there once so you can see the show. When you do go, get there a bit early so the kids can sit in front. Make a sign for them to hold (we used a paper towel and a marker) - have it say something like "I want to be a Jedi" or "Darth Vader is going DOWN!" - something to make them stand out in the crowd.

Sounds like you'll have a wonderful time!
