Week Before or Week After Thanksgiving??

I posted this on Theme Parks Strategies forum, but maybe this is better location?

We (family of 6 kids aged 3-11 - closer to 4-12 at time of travel), have reservation during Free Dining week before Thanksgiving - I just found a stellar flight deal (saved us about 40K points) if we travel week after thanksgiving.

I'm looking for your opinions, I read wonderful things about week after Thanksgiving - kids would miss less school by a day and a half and have time prior to work on their missed assignments.
However, it may cost us a bit more that week - I know financially we'd have to see if the offset in price is better with the airline point savings...

So tell me which is better?? My package price stays pretty much the same if I change from 2 CSR rooms to an AoA suite - something we haven't done (I stay away from values as my kids like pool slides, but maybe week after thanksgiving we wouldn't be swimming as much??)

Dining Resizes not much of an issue as I booked meals I wanted just in case we'd switch dates - so I'm happy either way on that.

Tell me your thoughts please!!

We went just a year and half ago on the week after Thanksgiving and loved it! The crowds were not big, we lucked out and had great weather (upper 80's) and so we did use the pool, I myself would go that week again if we could. If I had to a value choice it would be AoA
