So due to many unforeseen constraints, tickets expiring and an emergency surgery this past December, it looks like we're going to WDW for 8/28 - 9/5 this year. What should we expect for weather, crowds, etc? Of course I know it's all up the air as to when more normalcy will return but I'm hoping for night time fireworks again. We usually go in late fall or December. Have been there in the summer before. We live in Houston so we know what to expect with the heat/humidity. Now it's time to get our lazy selves in shape and start planning for 20k steps every day.

We'll be there at the same time!

Weather = Melt-your-face-off hot + thunderstorms most days although the storms are a welcome relief as they cool things off a bit - for a few mins then temps quickly grow again.

Crowds are normally in the middle although hard to tell this year. By the end of August most US schools are in session so many parents choose not to take their kids to Disney at that time. Here in Canada most schools go back after Labour Day so that's why we choose late August.

Happy planning!
