Week before Easter 2025

I know the crowds are bad typically the week before and after Easter but what this year? Easter is so late, April 20th, will the crowds the week before still be really bad?

Lots of schools will have April break that week, so I'm going to say yes.

Yes Easter is the draw, the week before, and after are also busy as Easter moves from March through April on the calendar.

Some schools will move their break to the week before Easter no matter when it is, some schools have a fixed April break.

Given that passover is April 12-April 20, that's probably NYC April break.

UK schools break up for over 2 weeks, from Friday 4th April, it's a busy period for UK guests visiting (for 14 nights typically), as well as US Spring Break guests.

I don't think the timing of Easter is going to affect crowd levels any more this year than in past years.

It doesn't matter when Easter is.... The week before and a few days after will be crowded...

Yes. Those crowds are so bad because those schools use Easter as their Spring Break marker, doesn’t matter when it is the break moves with the holiday.

We visited in late April 2019 (a very short last-minute weekend trip) and it was busy, but not crazy-busy except for Epcot. Easter was on 4/21 that year and we arrived on 4/26. Normally we would avoid the weeks surrounding Easter, but decided to go for it anyway.

Epcot was by far the busiest park. The Flower and Garden Festival was taking place and it was a Dapper Day. We had a great time (ELO was the musical group that day ), but getting anywhere quickly was a lost cause. We just went with the flow. And the weather was glorious!
