Week B4 Easter?

Break it to me. We are going the Sunday before Easter through the Thursday before Easter. (Yes we will be traveling Good Friday )

We were there this year the week all the colleges were out for Spring Break. (2nd-3rd week of March) It was much more crowed that when we had been before in March. This year our school system really stuck it to us and moved Spring Break to the week before Easter. Traveling on my teacher schedule STINKS.

How bad will the crowds be?

We go every year before Easter (our Spring Break floats with Easter). It is always packed. But, we always have a great time. The key is to go early (for us, that is by 9AM) and collect FP and then ride things that don't have FP, b/c those lines will get very long later. Then, by noon, we have done a number of ride, we use a few of our FP and then we go back to condo for pool, over to Ft W, DTD, etc. We also don't go into the parks everyday--esp. if nice weather.
We are also willing to skip a ride that is just too long--we know we'll be back the next year---nothing is worth waiting 1+ hours for IMHO. Have fun. Elaine

It's bad. This past year there were MK capacity closures that week.

Thanks all. I suspected it was going to be bad.

DH cannot stand very big crowds because he is a big guy 6'3" and pooh sized too. I can slip through cracks in the crowd but he cannot.

We usually go early (opening) and go back to the villa around noon, nap, and come back in the evening. Hopefully just knowing it is going to be busy upfront will be enough to preplan and know that we will have to be flexible.

Thanks for the other thread, seems I will be there with at least 100 of my closest DIS friends.
