Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

:rotfl2: Mine might too... but I am scheduling nap time in the afternoon so either passing out or staying up is fine as long as there are no tantrums! :rotfl:

I'm REALLY hoping mine will nap in the stroller like he did last year. It worked out SO well, and he is not one to sleep anywhere but his bed. Ever. I have the feeling he is going to be more wild and energetic at almost 3 then he was at almost 2...

Same here. Not sure how mine will react to everything since it's his first trip... it's exciting but also very scary for me!

Did you guys see the new projection show is after Wishes now? 10:45 pm the night I want to see it. Sooo late.

Last I checked they aren't showing it at ALL on party nights! I'm so sad about that as we don't have plans to visit MK on any non-party nights. :(

Has anyone dine at H&V Fantasmic! dinner package? Is the seating really worth the meal? Or other FP! seating will just be as good?

http://wdwprepschool.com/tips-and-tricks-for-fantasmic/

The dining seating is actually roped off and there is a CM that actually checks your ticket getting into the section. IMO the seating is the best in the house. Also, since we always run late it was great that we literally walked into the theater 5 min before the show started and still had great seats.
I would say that I am slightly torn about the H&V F!. Only because it is a buffet meal with characters already included. Last year we did HBD for lunch. The lunch prices were cheaper for lunch and it included appetizer, entree and dessert. But if I had a choice of no F! dining or H&V F! dining I would choose H&V F! package.

@Meeko5 You're a nurse, right? Should I be concerned about a low grade temp after surgery? Discharge instructions said to call if temp was 100.4 or above. I've increased from 99.6 this morning to 100.2 now...

It is not uncommon to have a low grade temp after surgery/anesthesia. I would call as an FYI if your temp goes over 100.5 and stays elevated into the afternoon.

@heath92681 this is exactly what I was going to say! Make sure you're getting plenty of rest and fluids, and hopefully it's just procedure related. Keep us posted!!

Working on my AK touring plan...

It's tough to be a bug with a toddler...YAY or nay? We missed it last year and I think my oldest will love it.

The whole "sting in the back" thing has made me scratch it off our list. My kids are terrified of wasps and bees, I don't need this reinforcing that fear! Sorry I can't help you out though. We've never actually seen it. I've just heard it's pretty intense for little kids.

Hmmm yeah. I forgot about that part. After my kids were both stung multiple times after coming across a ground bee nest in our yard perhaps I better skip it too...no need to traumatize them again!!

Thanks @Melwhit16

@Meeko5 I'm not planning anything at AK except for safari, lion king, and flame tree bbq. Bugs freak my dh out! Anything else is a bonus!

My oldest would happily ride EE over and over and over...then spend hours in the boneyard dig site. I'm planning safari, FoW, Everest a few times, dinosaur once, primeval whirl just because DS is 48" now and will want to try it (barf), and the train ride. We've got our safari FP 9:15-10:15 so hoping to sleep in a bit that day since it's after my planned late night at MK :)
