Did you get a notification through Res Finder? If I'm able to complete the reservation through their link, it has always let me keep any conflicting existing reservations for some reason!

This used to happen before. It stopped for a while but I guess it's back again. If it's through the res finder, seems like you can book conflicting reservations.

By the way, I hope your DH feels better soon! Glad it wasn't anything more serious.

Well DHs truck officially died and we had to get a new vehicle. We haven't had 2 car payments in like 6 years. Booooo

I'm cancelling the wishes garden view dessert party. Just can't justify half a car payment for the extra experience.

OK Disney is officially letting me do weird dining reservation things. It just let me reserve an Ohana on 11/27 @ 9:10pm when I already have a California Grill on the same day @ 9:30pm. I don't get it! But I sure am glad I didn't have to choose between the two just yet...

I have found that booking on the app and the computer will let me overlap - my original reservations were done on the computer so I was able to make several in the same one period via the app without issue. So weird but I'll take it!

Thanks all for commiserating. I'm ok without the dessert party - I'll use some snack credits for mickey bars and just be happy I'm in WDW with my family!!!

That could be it too. I just made that ADR via the app because my laptop is giving an error trying to get to the disney site.

Just popping back in and trying to catch up. I saw some people posting about needing a hotel close to Disney before they check in. We have always had great experiences at the Hampton inn on Palm Parkway just outside of Downtown Disney. They offer a continental breakfast and just a quick drive over to your other hotel or straight to the parks. We are at 34 days til we arrive. Magic bands should be arriving next week, and hopefully our luggage tags also.

When I come to Disboards (okay, let's face it, I always have a tab open to the Disboards), I always click on "Watched Threads" at the top. A list of all my threads I follow that have had new replies pulls up and I can click on my favorite ones from there. Once I've made my way through all my watched threads, I then click on "New Posts" to see what is happening overall. I hardly ever look at my alerts because there are just too many.

Thanks for posting this. I never noticed that new/recent posts tab. I immediately scrolled to the top after reading your post & have been having fun using that feature since.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a rain jacket for women? I had a nice lightweight hooded one that I cannot around here find for the life of me. I have spent a month looking in every possible location and it's gone somehow. Ugh!
