Touring Plans fax - they'll send a fax to your resort at some point before arrival with your room request. I'm not sure if this is a free service or if you have to be a subscriber...anyone?

What is the benefit of this vs doing on MDE? I did it at MDE last year. I had already requested a pack n play and 2 queen beds when I booked the room. Then did the early check in online. Requested same room as last year (over quiet room in building closest to Epcot). I just haven't given much thought to it this year. I did request a king bed with pull out couch this year since dd prop won't fit in pack n play this year. It was so nice last year. Dd in pack n play. Dh and I both had own beds. Nice since I gotup early for conference each am. Just like the cleavers. Lol.

Tried that, still wont work, even scheduled a Fast Pass in the plans for the times overlapping the early shows... nope, says I wont need them. I left a lot of time in there for wandering around World Showcase and I think they dont like that, but I dont want to schedule 20 minutes in each country. I wish they would let you "pin" things at certain times. At least its a rough draft and it will be on the lines app for me when I get to the parks.

One thing you can do is use a "break" for certain things and that will keep them at the exact time. I had to do that for the Wild Africa Trek in AK and also in MK when I want to arrive early to get a good fireworks spot I also utilized breaks right before the fireworks time. Then it will at least flag you if you are getting to your breaks later than you should be and you need to make adjustments.

I loved collecting autographs as a kid...mine couldn't care less. Which is sort of a relief for me haha!

Something really cute I saw other parents doing was having characters sign a t shirt for the kids so they could collect the autographs all on one item. I thought it was a super good idea.

Oh my, I can see this happening with my two year old. he seems very interested in the book and pen when he saw it though...

She loved it when we were there. Gave every character hugs after they signed.
About 6m ago she got it out of her bookcase and made snow during her nap.

Super excited. With some modifying after the fact I got all my FPP pretty much exactly when I wanted. Even got FEA for our first night! Now that my plans are solidifying I have the following ADRs all for 4 people to let go:

Not sure if one works better than the other. I didn't put in any request when I made the reservation on MDE and as far as I know to do it now I'd have to call and have it added. I know people have had good luck with the TP fax so I'm giving it a shot this year.

I hear Tusker breakfast is awesome! We were just Meh on dinner, so DH didn't want to repeat a meal there. I loooove breakfast food, but I'm the only one in my family. Boo!

Tusker house was our favorite breakfast last time. We got a late time for breakfast this trip so that we will be there when the lunch foods come out as well. It will be our lunch.

Do you have a touring plan for your Harry Potter day? My DH and DS11 are spending a day there to see the Harry Potter stuff, and DH wants me to tell them what to do. I've been trawling websites and blogs to find the best plan but was wondering if you (or anyone here!) can point me in the right direction.

We had only planned on one Universal day, until we got the email offering two free 2-park tickets with the purchase of 1. I've read there are plans out there on how to tour so you see things in the basic order in which Harry experienced them, so I'm going to check that out.

Me too!! I even poked around on the universal site a while back and was hoping that would get me an email with the deal. Nope.

Last night I priced out cancelling our RO on Friday and staying at cabana bay with park to park tickets. $750 for a night with all that. Yikes. One day! Or next trip, since it likely won't be a year later like this one is haha
