Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

I've been going the Disney Vacation Account route w/ gift cards purchased at Target for 5% off. I hope the 2% gift card bonus works out. I've had the account since my last trip but we hadn't opened it in time to receive the bonus back then.

That's smart too! I don't have a target card for some reason...I always mean to do it because lord knows I spend enough there that 5% would definitely add up. Can you get the giftcards with the debit acct too??

Ok...I want to steal this plan! Almost to the T, haha. The moonshine drinks were on my list, plus WL is a must, as well as Trader Sams. I haven't investigated GF or CR options yet. I also was planning to not make an ADR that evening and we'd just get appetizers along the way.

It's great that you can go straight from MK to FW via the boat. My biggest question right now is how to get wherever I'm starting from the BWI. I was going to go to Disney Springs first, but I'm not sure if that leaves us enough time. I guess I have to decide if we want to plan for doing it all in one day, or breaking it up over our 2 break days.

Disney Springs will be Saturday night, with an early dinner at The Boathouse and then a late night meal at Morimoto Asia. My Husband had ulcer surgery several years, which took most of his stomach, so he eats small meals every 2 hours. I'm planning for a lot of appetizers and sharing meals.

We are doing the Crescent Lakes resorts later in the week, and we have dinner plans at Bluezoo.

Fast pass selection went better than expected! On our Epcot day 11/29 the earliest I could get FEA was 8:20pm. I was able to modify it to 7:40. But that was the earliest.

Glad it went well, people have reported being able to change to earlier FEA time as their date approaches so keep checking back if you want to try for something earlier!

I hear Tusker breakfast is awesome! We were just Meh on dinner, so DH didn't want to repeat a meal there. I loooove breakfast food, but I'm the only one in my family. Boo!

Ive had TP throw out some strange waits too. I'm most unsure about what they are telling me waits will be on Thansgiving day. 30minutes for Jungle Cruise about 6pm? And it won't let me choose the time I am doing the Candlelight Processional, we are doing the 8:15 show and it keeps trying to make me go to the 6:15 show But I'm just using for a rough estimate of what I would like to do, I'm fairly sure we will get distracted more often then not.

We are there that day also and I did mine yesterday. The earliest I could get was 4. Glad there were some left.

Yes I use the red debit card and get the 5%off the GC

Do you have a touring plan for your Harry Potter day? My DH and DS11 are spending a day there to see the Harry Potter stuff, and DH wants me to tell them what to do. I've been trawling websites and blogs to find the best plan but was wondering if you (or anyone here!) can point me in the right direction.

I had same problem with TP for CP. I eventually moved it manually then chose evaluate not optimize.

Tried that, still wont work, even scheduled a Fast Pass in the plans for the times overlapping the early shows... nope, says I wont need them. I left a lot of time in there for wandering around World Showcase and I think they dont like that, but I dont want to schedule 20 minutes in each country. I wish they would let you "pin" things at certain times. At least its a rough draft and it will be on the lines app for me when I get to the parks.
