We only used our hoppers once last year, and it was for DS7 and I to go to MK on a non party night. The under 2yo couldn't hang haha. We would have been totally happy with 1 park/day otherwise for our first trip! We had the free dining last year too, and had to buy the hoppers.

Now that I know how it will go, and have that first trip under my belt I plan to use the hoppers for sure!

I'm driving myself crazy. I had made a spreadsheet to figure out a plan. To hop or not? To MVMCP or not? Where to dine? Thoughts??

I say park hop for sure. I don't think the price difference is that much.
Have you been to MVMCP before?

Nice! Did you conservatively estimate 2 hrs for sit down meals? I've only been allotting 1 hour for us 2 adults, but I'm guessing with kids that it would easily be longer.

It can also sometimes take a bit to be seated... so it is good to be prepared for that.

2 hours is a bit generous, but like Mona said it can be messed up by late seatings or other issues. We tend to be quick eaters because our kids have short attention spans, but at Disney better to be prepared

Both have same hours and up in the air nighttime schedule so I don't see why not!

We are doing AK on 11/30, after doing MVMCP the night before. Hoping we can do a shortened day if we are tired!

As of now, the SW fireworks are not being shown on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. They just updated through the first week in November and have continued that schedule at least that far. If you really want to see SW fireworks (and maybe you couldn't care less about them, idk) you'll want to stick with the Wednesday night plan in case they continue to show them only a few nights per week.
