Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

I stopped in at my target too and they didnt have any in my kid's sizes darnit. But I did find some lego minifigs. I now have 3 Mr. Incredibles because I'm terrible at feeling up the packages lol
The only place that had any around here was Walmart and they must have only gotten the one box. :( I would have loved to go in and fondle more packages - I got pretty good at it! - but I finally broke down and got my last 2 on ebay, luckily found them pretty close to retail price. Now I have to get my feel-a-blind-bag fix from Tsum Tsums.

I felt up all the Lion Guard bags. I hope he gets what I thought they were! Funny thing was there was another parent in the aisle doing the exact same thing. We'd each feel and compare notes lol.

We have a good dilemma to decide on! Maybe someone can throw a light on something I haven't thought of.

My wife and I had 'Ohana at the top of our list for dining. When 180+ rolled out, we snagged 6:50 ressie on Thur Dec 1st. That time was in jeopardy as we hemmed and hawed over which MVMCP to attend (Tues or Thurs). It would be a terrible time for the Thurs party as we would be out of the park approx. 3-4 hours during the party. So we decided that Tuesday is our party day and Thursday would be our 2nd day at Epcot. We have a full day scheduled for MK on Tuesday: RD to end of party.

But then, touringplans ressie finder found us a 4:05 'Ohana res on Tuesday. So we would only be missing the pre-party while other guests are still in the park anyways.

Our dilemma, go to 'Ohana Tuesday and miss a little park time, maybe get back a little late to get in line for the Dwarfs at the party OR should we just eat QS in MK and go to 'Ohana on Thursday with the original reservation? it will end our Epcot day a little early, but we're seeing Illuminations Sunday after CP.

If it matters, we have 11:30 res at Liberty Tree on Tuesday and no other dining plans yet on Thurs.

Any thoughts or suggestions? (sorry for the book)

I agree! I'd want all the MVMCP time I could squeeze out for the ticket price! That and I've read the 7D meet line gets long quick.

I'd stick with a QS on party day and Ohana on Thursday.

How long was the wait? We're trying to figure out plans for seeing them.

Long. I can't remember if they gave you time estimates or not, but I remember DH and I looking at each other and saying no way, not with two little ones, at least. I'm not much help with MVMCP. We were pretty disappointed in it actually, since it was so crowded you could hardly move and long lines everywhere. The boys enjoyed seeing the "snow" on Main Street and the cookies/hot chocolate.

I'm torn on going since DD will still be 3. I've read it is like a regular park day as far as people present. We were planning on going the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Hoping that the crowds will be low that day.

Two years ago party night lines were supposedly similar in length to fast pass lines. Definitely not the case! The parties just became so popular so fast. I'm glad we did it once, but I don't feel it was worth the money to do it again.

I'm starting to second-guess our plans. :(
