I just read Ellen's Energy Adventure is rumored to be refurbed with a Guardians of the Galaxy theme, and that is could close as early as this fall.

We skipped this on our last trip, and I remember it being the old original ride only vaguely. But I say heck yeah for Guardians!

I've never seen GotG, but we skipped Energy Adventure last time just because it didn't appeal to us at all. I'm all for Epcot getting a major update in Future World - it is sorely needed!

I was able to score CP Dining at Garden Grill for 8:30 on 11/28 for the 8:15 show! I canceled my previous reservation at Captain's Grille. Can't wait to see Neil Patrick Harris as the narrator!

Now the only thing left on my list is to change my Yak and Yeti reservation from 4;15 to something later as soon as they extend park hours. And maybe try to get Garden Grill changed to 8:00.

Anyone know which restaurant/time will reserve for the earlier CP show? I figured breakfast would be for the earlier shows...but seems that the GG is all for the 8:30 show.

No one has figured out a pattern yet, but I've heard some people have been able to call and switch their show time if there's availability. Maybe try that and see if you have any luck.

When I called to book they initially offered me a 5p and I said I didn't want the early show and she asked me which I would rather have. I would try to call or keep refreshing the page until you get the time you want.

I think the CM on the phone said you couldn't, but I'm not sure. I'd like to know too!

The phone CM told me you couldn't, as well. She made sure I wrote down the number etc etc. Which stinks, I'd like to have it all in one place too. I added it as a note in MDE but it's not as satisfying.

Agreed. I was prompted to take a survey one of the times I was using MDE, and I wrote in my feedback that it would be easier to make reservations for Pirates League, BBB, etc. in there like dining and to have it show up on your itinerary.

Oh, thank you! I just grabbed a CP package time at GG that was the same as our previous reservation. Now we don't need to keep the Biergarten I had made before. I mean, I love Biergarten, but we didn't need two big meals!

Hmm... I am thinking we will not make it to MK in time for breakfast on 11/29 (our first park day) so I decided to look for a lunch reservation at LTT. Denied! Plenty of options if I wait until 12/6 (our last park day), but Tony's Town Square is the only thing available for us on 11/29. I've set up a reservation finder on TP for it, I'm sure something will come available between now and then! I want to try that Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake!!

When I booked our Illuminations Cruise and the Sense of Africa tour, the CM said it would not show up in MDE and if I wanted to add it, add it as a note for that day. It will show up on the MDE app homepage under My Plans.

I made separate docs for each day for park usage - map on one side (from EasyWDW), touring plan and ADRs/reservations on the other. I also added the kids menus of the QS places I thought we might be close to. Then I could just grab that sheet to reference throughout the day. I had info on MDE too, but this way I didn't have to pull out my phone all the time!

We do this all the time. Although I never thought of the map on the back. I will have to try that this year.

That's a great idea!! It really drove my husband nuts last year seeing everyone on their phones. Plus it drains your battery so much!!
