Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

I had pink. And we bought blue DVC anniversary bands.

And we have a split stay. I ordered purple and red.

So I am wondering if this is the reason it appears there seemed to be no Fastpasses for EE after 5 Pm the week after Thanksgiving. I recall reading last spring that there was speculation EE may not run during ROL. I checked Sunday through Wednesday and saw nothing after 5 for EE but there were 6 and 6:30 Fastpasses for other attractions at AK. Hmmm.... Was anyone able to secure a FP+ for EE after 5?

My friend got one at 5 for Sunday, 11/27. I looked for Friday 12/2 and didn't see any. I thought I was just too late but maybe there's something to what you're saying.

I was hoping that if hours were extended more Fastpasses might open up for later in the evening, but maybe not if ROL happens. I also could be mixing up my information! Last spring was a lonnnggg time ago! I guess we'll see. I'd be happy to see ROL, too!

I think it will be nightly. Disney has been weird lately though, so your guess is as good as mine.

Kenny the Pirate said that there will not be Fp+ during show times. EE will run in between shows and after but not during...

This was from May and talking about Jungle Book, but it sounds hopeful that perhaps EE will at least be open for some dark hours but operate stand by only??

My kids are totally excited about trading too. I got my boys a nice lot of Star Wars and Marvel pins off of ebay and let them decide how to divvy them up. They ended up fighting over a Star Wars pin that looked like this, of all things -

Neither of them could tell you what it is (it's some sort of Republic navy symbol). DS5 wanted it because it's a circle, DS11 wanted it because DS5 did.

Still haven't chosen. I have had to make too many Disney decisions lately - I just can't decide on this one yet And because we have a room only stay and then the package stay, I have to choose 2. Ugh!

For our room only we won't get luggage tags, so I'm going with the yellow or orange on that one. Then, for our package, I want the purple band. I think that purple tag is so cuuuuute!
EDIT: From our last trip I already have red, blue, and green.

Since it's Christmas, I'm getting a red MagicBand this time. I've had orange (Halloween) and yellow before. DD is getting purple (she's had pink and green before), and DH is going with the gray (he's had blue and red before).

So we'll have at least one of each color around our house by the end of this trip!
