We plan on going the Tues. before thanksgiving to the wed after can anyone tell me about the crowds. We really hope that things calm down if not how is the week before thanksgiving?

We've gone twice the week before Thanksgiving...By the time, you get there on Tuesday, crowds will be growing larger due to the holiday. We've always arrived the Saturday before and last time we left on the Sunday after. We have found that the parks were pretty crowded starting on Wednesday and going through the weekend...but that they were manageable. I would go every Thanksgiving if we could. I love all the holiday decorations that are up by the time Thanksgiving rolls around.
I have heard that after the weekend is over, that crowds are considerably less...so you may find that the Monday and Tuesday have really low crowds...:goodvibes

We have traveled during that time quite a bit. We avoided MK on Thanksgiving Day. We were at Epcot and had a wonderful day, and met a couple who had been at MK for awhile and they said the crowd was heavy there, and that they were glad they came over to Epcot.

We go to MGM (now DHS) for Thanksgiving Day...It's my kids favorite park and it has become tradition to eat at the H&V. Believe it or not...it is my kid's "do not miss" place to eat! :goodvibes
Crowds there weren't bad and I love the "Holly Jolly Parade" complete with Santa at the end of the parade! :santa:
We usually go to Epcot on Friday, which has many Christmas things happening...
