We'll be at Disneyland the week after Thanksgiving...specifically 12/1 and 12/2...Can anyone tell me what kind of crowds to expect? I'm hoping you'll say they won't be bad since the Thanksgiving crowd will most likely have cleared out by then...

Thanks in advance!

The week directly after Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times to go. The park is decorated and beautiful and the crowds are thin. Of course, you will be there on a Friday and Saturday which are typically much more busy than the middle of the week. Here's what to watch out for: The Disney employees Christmas party when the park closes early and the Candlelight processional when the crowd level spikes. I don't off hand know when either of these two circumstances occur so you'll have to look them up.

Dec. 2nd and 3rd are the Candlelight Procession dates...I understand the parks are crowded then..I haven't gone myself but if you do a thread searc on the Procession it'll give more info. Regardless, I hope you'll have a great time.

The cm party is the either the 4th and 5th or the 5th and 6th..cant remember exactly off hand

CM parties are the 4th and the 5th of December. DL closes at 6pm those nights but DCA is open until 9.

The Candlelite Processional is on Sat and Sun of that week. We have been on those dates on two other years and the crowds have been like the middle of the summer. We talked to cast members and they said that it is a nightmare to work. We will actually be there also on those dates and are just going to visit other places those days. Sorry, but I hope this helps.

Thanks a bunch for your answers....What exactly is this? and how long does it last.
