Which would you choose? Looking at weekdays either after Mother's Day or June 4-8? Wouldn't be the whole week, just 3 days. Don't have them locked down yet. This is also all hinging on what we can book through DVC at 7 months out.

More schools will be in session in mid-May than in early June. But you could end up with more things still under refurbishment and shorter park hours. I know we delayed once from May to June because Indy was going to be down and we really wanted to do it.

Also pay attention to the AP blackout calendar. If passes are about to enter a lengthy blackout phase, or if they are just opened up again, avoid that time. If there's a big promotion about to expire, avoid that time.

I also think it depends on what you're looking for and what you're priorities are. Lately, Memorial Day weekend has been considered the kick-off to the summer season, which typically means longer operating hours, full(er) entertainment schedule, etc. It can also mean higher crowds (especially just before the SoCal Select AP blockout goes into effect). You'll likely have grad nites to contend with either week, but the number of grad nites is something to consider. So it's a trade-off...

I would go with the first week of June. The past couple of years the beginning of June has had reasonable crowds. Still crowded but better than most times throughout the spring.
