week after Labor Day?

I'm thinking about taking a Mon-Fri getaway right after Labor Day. The price is right (around $75/night), our work schedules are relatively slow... (although I would have to cancel some clients)

How are the crowds?

I've never been to WDW in September. But I'm tempted. Our Christmas trip seems sooooo far away...

I'm going that week and it looks pretty good as far as crowd calendars and resort availability go. It's all a crapshoot, but that time if year is supposed to be nice crowd-wise.

how are hurricane risks?

That is among the very least crowded weeks at Disney. It is also the height of hurricane season, but they rarely threaten inland Orlando.

That is one of the slowest weeks. All schools are back in session at that time. It has been getting more crowded each year, but is still very slow. It is hurricane season and it rains a lot. We have been twice during that time and twice hurricanes were bearing down on Orlando.

The only thing I can see being different this year is Epcot with F&W starting earlier.

Other than Epcot possibly feeling more crowded than usual at this time of year, I am hoping for slower week! It is usually one of the slowest weeks to go.

See you there! I'll be there September 9-16! Crowd calendars have very low numbers although I have been at this time and
still do rope drop, it's not empty but not crazy either.

September is nice for crowds, especially during the week. Food and Wine is the big draw on the weekends.

It is rainy season here in Florida. But don't fear hurricanes because they happen when they happen and there is no planning for them or around them. You'll be more likely to get wet from the near daily rains we can get than a possible hurricane.
