Week After Easter 2022?

Good afternoon everyone, hope you all have been staying safe and healthy. Our 2020 Disney vacation was canceled and we ultimately decided against it in 2021 but we are planning on returning in 2022. We are limited on when we can go because my wife works in the school system so we are looking at April vacation. Here in my town April vacation is the third week of April and in 2022 Easter Sunday is essentially the beginning of April vacation. We are currently scheduled to get to Disney on Monday the 18th (the day after Easter) and our first park day being the 19th. I have read countless crowd calendars and it seems like they range from "crowds will be moderate" to "crowds will be insane and unmanageable". I know we are in unprecedented times so maybe past history is not a future predictor for 2022 but I would love to hear opinions about going this time of year. Thanks for everyone's help!

This is because schools tend to have either the week before or the week after or both weeks off.

Ugh. I’m sorry. I think the website is glitchy today. Randomly the “update” or “cancel” your reservation buttons disappear and it says I have to call. Then some of the dining I’d have to redo because it wouldn’t go through and I get an error message. The website worked better for booking than the app today though. I used safari

I've been on hold for an hour... I've even resorted to uninstalling & reinstalling the app. Dining link, straight to the restaurant, all the tricks. I can see reservations for Space Lounge AND Restaurant. It's soooo frustrating.

I think everything is messed up today. I have a reservation number for CYM at MK but it's not showing up in my disney plans and I did not cancel it (I have no cancellation email). And I have an extra $79 charge on my CC for it!

Just installed the app on my daughter's iphone (instead of my Samsung). Same exact error.

3 hours on hold but I got Space 220 lounge AND everything else we wanted for Easter weekend!

Glad it worked out. I’m going to wait a bit to see if my reservation pops up on MDE. I did book another one for a different day that showed up already as a back up. So I guess we will see.
