Although does anyone else's have your surname before your first name?

So mine says Mrs *Surname* Victoria

Literally as I just read your post the postman came and I wondered if they'd done a big batch, lo and behold... it's here!!

Can't wait to book up our Christmas trip now so I can look forward to using it!!

ETA: Mine also says my name backwards but I think that's the norm in France for official stuff. I'm sure I've seen it like that before on something else.

I am unfamiliar with the shareholders card. I assume that it means you own shares in Walt Disney World. Can you tell me a bit about the program and what kind of discounts you get?

It's only for Disneyland Paris.

But you get great food and merchandise discounts. And access to a private members lounge at the top of Main Street with drinks and pastries.

Wish they had similar for WDW!!!

Sorry to hear it’s only for Disney land Pairs. I do know that for Disney world they have a discount card for dining called Tables in Wonderland. It gets you 20% off at almost all table service restaurants, but does tack on an 18% gratuity as well.

Thanks We got a TiW card last last year and our AP discount was good for shopping. So I suppose it's similar discount.

The shares are held in Eurodisney SCA, the French company that runs DLP, you need between 5 and 20 to become a member, less than 20, there is a charge for the card, 20+, the card is free.

The benefits are here: http://corporate.disneylandparis.com/shareholders/shareholders-club/index.xhtml but basically it's 15% off all merchandise in DLP, 10% in the UK, 15% off table and buffet service, nothing for counter meals and as mentioned earlier, you get access to Salon Mickey, the shareholder's lounge with free drinks (tea/coffee/cartons of juice/water) and free pastries or cookies between 9am and 12pm. Salon Mickey is at the far right of the main entrance, I would say it's at the bottom of Main Street rather than the top but depends on how you look at it!

There are numerous threads on buying the shares but they are currently €3.91 so 29 will cost around £66 plus dealing fee. The card takes about 6 weeks to arrive after you've filled in the forms etc. and is valid for 2 years, it's free to renew if you have 20 shares.

Our card has surname, first name as well though my Indian colleague has his the correct way round.

I was thinking of buying some shares when I get money end of month as you have to open share accounts with Halifax 100 min and I don't have that yet
