I'm sure it did, except when it was in the incubator, you can see the mother's fur in some of the pics. I just received those in an e-mail a few days ago and thought they would be appropriate since the National Zoo had a baby panda born a couple of years ago, it is pretty rare for ones born in captivity to survive more than a few days.

I loved the pics!

I was just curious 'cause this baby apparently needed the incubator. The other few pandas that have been born here (Hua Mei, and others) I guess didn't need one, or they didn't show it.

It's still adorable!!!

I have a picture from the baby panda from this spring. It's much much bigger.

I saw the panda last year when it was a cub...soooo cute!
