Good one!

I was actually trying to think of how I could be PC and answer that question!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh my!

Confuzzlement solved!!!!!

I PMed Donna saying I wasn't sure about #3.

She replied "You got three right"

:rotfl2: meaning the one I was worried about, I for some reason thought I got 3 out of the 4 right and I wondered WHY she was being so cryptic as to which one was wrong! I mean usually you trip over the mints in the morning.... I really wondered if we were upping the difficulty here on the riddle.

:rotfl2:

Had to share so you could all laugh at me too!

:teeth: Well, I am home by myself :rolleyes1

Twinkie!!!! "Dollars to Doughnuts?" I've never heard that one, but I'll use it!
Do you ever find yourself quoting your parents on nonsense sayings? I sure do!
Has ANY one ever heard of the saying when someone asks your name you say: "Puddentang, ask me again and I'll tell you the same!" :rotfl2: I make fun of my mom for that!

AND! I inadvertantly (too lazy to spell check that one) called Lou, "MISSY", because I had thought it was shourt for Louise or LouAnn (Hill) or something. I didn't know it was short for LOU...so, I retract missy (in caps) and replace with MISTER...but he's helping me with my infamous diet Puppys (Norahism) pho-toe!
So I must play nice(ish)!!

Cinnamon Roll?

How about hummer, for hmhunter? i like hummer....goes with buzzy. :teeth:

thank you, Horsey, for being kind! :) I will accept my new moniker with the following disclaimer:

Hummer does not, and will not, drive a Hummer. So there is no need for the enviromentalists to pull out the flamethrowers.
Hummer does not hum to herself in public places. Only at home. Or in the car. Or in the shower. Or if she's running and there's absolutely no one else around.

Does that mean we can't ask you to HUM a few bars? :teeth:

Twink....I wondered what the heck you were talkin' about??? :teeth: :rotfl2:

and Gram.....feel better....thanks for splainin' to me what forking meant! :teeth: :rotfl2:

Cinnamon Roll?

I first heard the Puddantang one from my husband... I thought it was a southern Virginia thing. Glad to hear they have funny sayings in Cali and Utah. Yes the dollars to doughnuts

I haven't heard that in years :rotfl: My mom said that to us all the time when we were kids! I guess it's not just in the South and West :teeth:

I've also heard the dollars to donuts phrase (and use it) ::yes::

Tara and Twinkie! Thanks for that! I was hoping she didn't make it up! It's so silly and I say it too! I just had a thought on sayings like "dollars to doughnuts", can you imagine how those people trying to learn English are being stumped on all our corny sayings??? :rolleyes1

Alrighty, back to reality.

Hi Donna!!!!!

The third one had me stumped for a while, but I finally switched a word and made it work.

Sending a PM now.

I believe I am in.

I'm in! Woo! Except for that third one. I kinda made part of it up. :confused3

Twinkie confusion reigns!!!

Let me explain my last post: I started it with several thoughtful, intelligent and witty things to say but then life happened and then it was clean-up time and lunch time and then one of my twins passed out asleep which is wierd so I think she might be sick and oh yeah, my sister who is going to Disney in like 20 days called and wanted me to help her rearrange some ADRs and choose which parks which days and was doing this all from her batphone so I must use the internet to actually find park hours etc etc and meanwhile on the other computer the BABY submitted my half written message.

Ok so he is almost one and a half so he is a Toddler but really, isn't that a little young to be hanging out on the riddle???

So yes, dollars to doughnuts is a saying from my mom.... I love it but so seldomly use it in real life along with absomurfly, mad props, shout out to my peeps and other fine DIS sayings.

:sad2:

So sad. I still can't get the "stupid" 4th one. But hey! Hopefully 3 out of 4 ain't bad. :teeth:

I tried, I really did! :teeth:

(You guys just weren't very helpful this AM. Just sayin')

RV hasn't posted a lot this morning. His finishing school classes must be running long. I think it's so cute how horsey is being suuuuper sweet to him. You know she's just trying to fool the tag fairy. :rotfl2:
