I live pretty close to the Donald E. Stephens convention center where they have the Wizard World Con. every year here.

I like to do a drive by when it's going on. The people dressed up range from incredibly creative to more than slightly scary.

I have all the makings of an elf costume except for the ears.

From what I understand those Sci-Fi/Fantasy type dealios are pretty wild back at the hotels at night so that is sage advice.

Full disclosure now: I've seen the last three Star Wars movies at midnight.

The odd thing is I didn't have to wait in line for a month. We kinda went to the theaters that night and got tix.

I didn't like the movies but the atmosphere can't be beat. To watch a movie in the same row as a guy wearing full stormtrooper gear is an experience I'll tell my grandchildren about. It was more like the preview of Star Tours than Star Tours.
