I am hard-pressed to admit that I actually agree with Donna, but I do. Something about the size of my gingy and candy cane in proportion to the name. I miss my lollies too; in fact, I want the lollies as my avatar, but I'm too gimpy to figure it out. I'm still tweaking it and I haven't made a final decision yet.

Don't tell Duck, or he'll want to conduct a poll to determine what should be in my siggy.

and nah...I love my MIL...she just drives me nuts at times.
She insisted on taking me to lunch and paying...(for my birthday which was in Aug...and we celebrated 3 times already..lol)...so ok..it made her happy. I picked Longhorn and told her "I really like the steak salad there".
We sit down and she says...don't even try to get the steak salad or a sandwich. You are getting a meal. Uhmmmm..I really WANT the steak salad. No way...you're not getting that. You get a steak or whatever you want. Ok.....whatever I want is whatever you want me to have...what am I ordering? I got a steak (filet) with steamed veggies (NO I DO NOT WANT A POTATO) and I even jacked up the price with a side salad. She was freaking thrilled.....while I gazed longingly at the next table with my yummy steak salad on it!
I put my foot down about dessert though. I'll be paying for that one the next two times I have to go out!

My MIL gives me the evil eye I if I order anything more than a side salad.

She never has more than one quart of skim milk, a carton of grapefruit juice, and spinach in her fridge. Oh and the 2 liter sized wine bottles.
