Wednesday vs. Thursday

Question for all you DL experts out there..

Do you think there would be a difference in crowd size between a Wed. and Thurs. in mid-August?? I know that Thursday is an EE day. Does that affect crowds much throughout the day?

I think it would be a noticable difference--lots of people go for a long weekend starting on Thursday. But it wouldn't be the same as the Friday-Saturday crowds,you know? If you can switch it to Wednesday, that's better.

If I had to choose between a day, I would choose Wednesday. People might take a long weekend starting Thursday. But both days would still be fairly busy since it's August.

Wednesday is definitely better if you don't have MM. MM (formerly EE) does affect crowd levels, especially the morning hours which are the most important hours for touring of the day. Wednesday, everyone enters the park at the same time so you don't have to enter a park with already long lines (especially for Space, Peter Pan, Dumbo, and Matterhorn)

Thanks for the advice! Looks like we'll plan DL for Wednesday. We're trying to figure out our LA-area touring plan so this really helps.

I'm sure I'll have lots more DL and Southern CA questions (especially how to navigate LA traffic )
