wedding

cute ideas for class, it is def not too babyish! You could turn it into a paper or project and take the "show & tell" idea a step further...
Congrats on the review, sounds like you hit a home run!
Oh in terms of honeymoon luggage, remember you are still going to disney so you need to be comfy, and in July it is HOT in Orlando so you need to be prepped for the humidity... so for me that would be massive amounts of hair products so my hair doesn't go crazy :rotfl: !

Oh yes, we were there two years ago for my mums b day, July 26th... Oh no, I just realized, this is the first time I won't be home for her birthday!

Anyway, Yes, I ended up passing out on the starwars ride and i will never ride it again....lmao

I am just dying to find good flipflops!! I had a awesome pair and I wore it to death. I had a pair of coach ones that were awesome but their white and, well, theyre very dirty looking now (Even with my occ of toothbrush cleaning them they're still not clean looking, I guess I'll play around with them some more....

I heard reefs still make some nice ones, but Im not sure if their dressy enough for a dress

Grooms Cake...Any Ideas?

Okay so, Mum bought these adorable build a bear cake molds from Williamsonoma... And I decided that It would be totally awesome if I was to make a grooms cake with them (Not sure if I wrote this before but here goes my rant)

Now, I would make Two Bears. They would be "Disneymooners". I wanted to originally bring these out at the Rehearsal dinner but, Now I am thinking of surprising him at the wedding... What do you girls think?

The Bears would be either a bride and groom or just a girl and boy wearing our colors, and on their heads I wanted to do mickey hats...

But here is the confusion

The mickey Hats: Do I cut off their ears and replace them with fondant mickey hats? WIll they still look like bears if I do that? Or, do I make (instead of mickey ear hats) the mickey ear headbands for them, one in white with a little veil and one in black with a small tophat in the middle?

Then my next question is, what on earth do they hold?

I was thinking the bou bear could hold:

Room keys (That I would paint and make look like them)
Jet Blue boarding passes

The girl can have : the Just Married button

Any more ideas? I am heading to get the fondant today. A friend of mine is a baker and said that I should make the pieces early so that they are nice and hard for the day of... and since I know they will take a tremendous amount of time I think 5 months is more than enough time lol...

So, let me know what you think. How can I make them look like disneymooners?

What about "Bride ande Groom" writing on the back of their shirts?

la la de dum....

Let me know!!

oh, ps-I made my hair trial for February 26th! yay!    (I love him)

However today I was very sore, and i mean to the bone, and decided that I would do something fun...so...I designed my place cards and the jordan almond poem...(Which will also be the -thanks sam-mother in law reliever!!!!)

These place cards will be on top of the shells that vin is sawing (I didnt forget to ask him! Its a bezzle saw! sorry it took so long)

Yay you've been sleeping!! Well done!!

I like the idea of the cakes- but i havent got any advice on them as i can only make fairy cakes! But i think the bears holding room keys would be cute, and also having the mickey heads and with a headband and veil! hehe!!

It's All Coming Together!

So, yesterday I took mum to meet with the DOC. Of course my hands were sweaty and I was nervous until the moment she came, but as soon as she did, I was calm.

Her name is Rosalie. She's a very Italian woman, who knows alot about Italian Fiance's families:rotfl2: so she understood all my worries and concerns.

Basically, this eased my worries. She will be in charge of everything for the wedding day. Timing, etc. She'll have backups and things of that sort. I can't tell you guuys how amazingly blessed I feel that we won her!

Okay.............
Now on to some Disney...

Yesterday we also went to the "Unveiling" of the new Thomas Kinkade's pinnochio and it was so beautiful. Vinnie can't wait to buy that one and the snow white one to go with his rather large Cinderellas castle!

It put me so much in the disney mood that I ended up buyign Mickey earrings for the honeymoon. Three diamonds shaped into the mouse...So adorable. When I find my charger I will post pics!

Hope you all had a beautiful Valentines day!!
Jenny

I studied art in school for 5 years then GCSE for 2 years and then done art for A Levels for 2 years - and i never knew of Thomas Kinkade until you told me- i am so in love with that Disney castle - ONE day i will have that painting- ONE day.. it will be sitting in my Florida home!

Yay for your DOC!

Here Comes the Cardbox!

So, yesterday mum and I woke up very very early so that we could get my sister to try on shoes... she has major issues... ::Cough princess syndrome cough:: and of course, she didn't come..

So that left mom and I to head to Long island because we were completely bored and awake early.

When we got back she said "Lets finish the cardbox" and I said "Sure!"

Four hours and third degree burn later:rotfl2:
(Also, I have two tiny snapple bottles next to the beach chairs)
