Yes...DF Rocks​

So, My hope was that we would be able to have shell placecards.... However the ones I saw online I didn't like some of them. I wanted all the white shells...

So, Vinnie searched online for how they do it and it turned out he actually had the tool they use. So, instead of ordering like 200 dollars worth just to get the white ones, we instead went to the dollar tree and found my beautiful white shells.... and he worked his Magic

So now, I am beyond excited because he really is into this wedding. I Was very nervous when we first got engaged that I would be doing everything myself. And I panic when I have to do everything... So this was just a reassurance...that this marriage... will be two people, not one holding all the weight!

Okay...crazy post done... Sorry for the mushies just really excited!

And...It seems this luck continues!!!​

This week is/was CAtholic Schools week all thoughout the New York. So, today was Crazy Hat day....

Last minute I decided to make a hat... I wore a pink outfit and used a bear

and out of all the faculty.... Who do you think won?

Everyone thought for sure that the Gym teacher that all parents and all students drool over would win...But nope... It was lil ol jenny....

And then the chants started

"MS D MS D MS D"
The news paper reporter was in my face (Omg its just a school crazy hat day! I felt like I was BRittney Spears and I just shaved my hair and implanted a bear for g-ds sakes!!)

and then out of the blue

"MARRY ME!"

We are guessing it was one of the 8th grade boys as they've spoken such and proposed on numerous occasions...however.... today was just fun

Yes it was so much fun. I do however have a faculty member angry with me because of the fact that last week I told her i wouldn't do it...she's like 65 years old think she'll ever grow up? lol

The Sand Ceremony

So, getting married in the Catholic Church means nothing out of the ordinary. So, Vin and I decided that we would do the sand ceremony at our Reception. Odd...yes. But so are we!

So, for Christmas vin's mom bought me this willowtree figure. It is my absolute favorite thing in the world and I wanted it for so long. It reminded me of us and so, I really searched hard for it.

One day she just found it and gave it to me as a late xmas gift. I started balling because it fit so perfectly on top of the apothecary jar we bought (FROM IKEA)

The two side pieces we are going to use as the fillers. The two on the side will have pink and blue or brown and the middle one will already have pink (To represent the past)

Here is my question. Do I leave it the way it is and not touch them? Or, do I put our monogram on the two side ones (Since the middle one I really can't do much with)

I was considering putting a starfish in the middle one but I realized that you can't do it becasuse to open it it pops it off...

Confusion!

DIY Overload!!​

So, I got sick this weekend (Go figure) and with that, I decided to do as many of my DIY as I can (As you can see already)

So, thank's to Kleenex and the sniffles, I now have the girls hair pieces finito!! (And Mine)

yoooour tooo good at this!! Its not fair!! hehe!! They look really really great. I wish that when i start on mine, that they look as good as yours! How do you do it??? I get all flustered just walking into a craft shop and looking at different pieces of paper- too much choice- i dont know what to do!! I went to one place today... grr... it was too much, there was like, 40 different colours of card, with enveloped and pieces of paper to match and i was like .. woah... cool down, get my head straigh- i ONLY NEED SOME NICE LIGHT PINK SHIMMERY CARD! I ended up walking out with, you guessed it- nothing!! hehe!

Jen- the UK's 'arctic' weather has arrived today... it has been snowing all day.. yet its about 9pm and its about 2inches on the ground and its expected to carry on through the night... ill post you pictures of what it is like tomorrow- to show you how little snow can make the UK go into meltdown and everyone stops and this little sprinkling of snow causes so much havoc!! heh!!

i cant belive all the things you have made for your wedding. it makes me panic and think... 'how the hell am i going to make even half of what you have done!' hehe!! honestly, it looks so good. well done you!!!!!

I just happened to cathc your pj and read all the way through! Are you having your at home ceremony at the beach? I'm having my wedding reception at Living seas and was thinking of doing seashell placecards but was worried I make them all trying to make them. Can you share what tool your DF used and how he did it?
