wedding wish/sky lanterns?

Does anyone know if they're allowed in WDW? (such as the ones seen in Tangled). I did a search on these boards but could not find anything.

I thought I read on someone's journal last year that Disney wouldn't let them do it, but I could be wrong...

I love the idea; we did a few off the beach last summer and it was really cool. It's challenging though...if the wind is going the wrong way you can end up with a problem...I could understand Disney saying no because of the potential for damages...and they're a lot bigger in real life than the pretty little ones in Tangled. At least, I haven't been able to find any little ones, and I've looked a LOT.

Please let us know if you find out from Disney...

I've never seen any pictures and I vaguely remember brides being told no.

I have heard of multiple brides asking Disney about the lanterns, but due to the fire hazard they could cause it's always been a "no" in the past

I loveeee Tangled though, so I just had "I See the Light" as our last dance song...which still worked out wonderfully!
