My fiance and I have a 2 month old (he'll be 13 months old at our wedding though) and we are trying to figure out how to include our son in our ceremony. We think it would be cute to include him as more than just the ring bearer, we were thinking maybe have a special "from mommy and daddy on their wedding day" gift.. but we have no clue what we'd get him. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas on a nice way of including him? Thanks! :goodvibes

Have you picked out an officiant for your ceremony yet?

Many of the ones recommended by Disney have a "planning pack" that includes some ideas for including children and step-children (I can PM a sample if you'd like). With a little girl, a bracelet or a necklace could be a nice symbol to exchange...but I'm blanking on something similar for a boy.;)

I have seen some give their children a ring when they do the exchanging of rings.. which is so cute..

My little girl is 5 months old and we are getting married 2 weeks before her 1st birthday, my 2 older children from my previous marriage will also be with us, my son is being ring bearer and my daughter bridemaid, im hoping the baby can be flower girl but i think she will be too young to hold flowers so im thinking of getting her a wand. Its a lovely idea to include your children in the ceremony, we are having Rev.Jack Day we haven't decided on the wording yet, but i would love him to say something about the children

Rev Tim has some good ideas as to how to include my ds (11) in the ceremony. DF has asked him to be his best man and will be presenting him with a mickey pocket watch during the ceremony.

Our ds was 27 months when we got married. He was our "ring bearer." However, he walked with my father and I down the aisle (and halfway down he sat down and had to be carried the rest of the way). My dh also carried him back up the aisle after we were married. We have some great pics of the three of us getting showered in rose petals. We chose to spend the day after our wedding with just our son. We went to the MK and rode Peter Pan over and over and over!

My DS (from a previous marriage) will be 3 1/2 when we get married in 3 months. He's going to be the ring bearer. He's such a mommy's boy that I'm afraid he might have some difficulty making it down the aisle before me. But we also wanted to get him a special gift because this is a HUGE part of his life too. I'd love any suggestions!
