Those are lovely, KT27. It’s wonderful that they match your colors so beautifully. Thank you for sharing the information.

I thought I would mention another “stamping” option: click here. I have used that company to create custom stamps for my family and friends. A sheet of stamps with a personal photo on it makes for a very unique gift.

After my FTW vow renewal, I had stamps created as keepsakes for two of my favorite Dis’ers (Nutz4dzny & Bonzie1). I used photos that my Disney photographers took of each of the ladies and their husbands. I cropped the photos down and used them for the personalized stamps. My guess is that my friends won’t ever “use” their stamps, but I know they will make a fun keepsake to hand down through the generations.

You can also use Photostamps as another unique idea. They are officially authorized by the US Postal Service. :thumbsup2

MEME, great minds think alike because that is the link that I gave in my post (and I've used them a few times too). ;)

I used Disney Stamps on my Save The Dates however since postage went up earlier this year they have not introduced any new 39 cent Disney Stamps yet. You can use the 37 cent stamps with Disney Characters but would have to add on a 2 cent stamp, the 2 cent stamps were ugly IMO.

Yes the extra cent stamps are ugly, do they usually do a disney stamp? I had the other ones...hopefully they will thanks for the scoop! The others are pretty

The new Disney stamps are being released on April 21 at the Flower & Garden festival and then released to the public April 22. I think these would be greatg for a Disney wedding. We are planning on being in Epcot for the release of the new stamp and hopefully will use the stamps on our invitations.

Thanks for the great info. I never even thought of the stamps!!!! I can't wait to purchase the disney stamps.

Janet2K, I'm sorry I didn't know that you were talking about the same stamps! oopss...... I will agree with you that great minds think alike... :thumbsup2

I used Disney stamps for our bi-monthly newsletters, our save the dates, and all our FL invites. I then used the magnolia stamps for our post-celebration invitations and respond cards.

For thank you cards, I took 5 of our favorite wedding pics (2 family pics ..with the kids and 3 of just us) and turned them into photo thank you cards using Walmart's Photo Cards. They were elegant and inexpensive! Everyone loved them and basically rec'vd a photo keepsake. I had some beautiful gold satin colored card stock left from my wedding programs and used it to type personalized messages for each family and used 2-sided tape to stick on the back of the photo card. I did this so that they could remove the message, if need be, in order to display picture. :teeth:

I love the idea of making stamps out of my pictures but would hate to think that people would throw them away. I think this is a great idea and would definately use it.

Linda
