Hiya

I have been on the dining plan board but no one there seems to be able to answer so I thought I would try here.

We get married at the wedding pavillion in January and are staying at the grand floridian using the room discount you get for weddings, the question is can we book tickets and dining plan yet still keep the room discount?

the dining plan would work out great for us, but I arnt sure we will be able to book it because we are using the discount.

thanks for any help

We are also getting married in January and staying at the GF! I think we are just going to buy the park tickets separately, and I don't think adding the dining plan would be a problem...you should just book them separately from your hotel....but I don't know for sure! I think that is what we are going to do, though! Good luck!

Unfortunately, you aren't able to use the dining plan. It is only available when you book your reservation as part of a package - when you book with the wedding discount, you are booking a "room-only" reservation. You can purchase tickets separately, but there is no way to purchase only the dining package unless to book a package with your room, tickets, and dining and give up the discount.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :sad1:

You can not have the dining plan if you use the wedding discount, you can however book a package with dining and tickets and have it count towards your room minimum you just won't recieve any sort of discount on the package.

Hiya

We get married on the 28th Jan!!! at the wp you'll be a bride the day before me!

It is correct that you cannot get the DDP with your wedding discount. We spent FOREVER getting to run around trying to figure this out. Our coordinator said it's something they're trying to change for their wedding couples, but for now, the answer is no :(

Try getting the DDE with your AP discount. It saves you 20% on most restaurants and you can also get the 20% off the alcohol portion of your bill which most discount programs don't include. We have only used it twice and have made back our money just from using it once
