Wedding room blocks question? AOA?

We just started planning our wedding for late April 2016 and maybe its time of year but the prices quoted are a small amount less

Just wanted to clarify that you can actually add up to 5 resorts, but it isn't really promoted (one reason is that the more spread out your guests are, the more transportation you'll need for them, if you're providing it). You can also extend the block for about 2 weeks on either side of your event. We used these two options in combination to get discounts on our hotel-hopping honeymoon well after our wedding.

We were told that these prices will be honoured outside of the dates on the block, but for initial counts, only those dates were included. Of course, I could be wrong, but that was my understanding. I always bow to lurkyloo's superior knowledge!

My guess is that you have Spring prices, but mine are Summer prices.
