Just some random quesitons regarding weddings at WDW...

*What counts toward the guest count if you are wanting an Escape Intimate wedding? Does the wedding party (bride, groom, MOH, etc.) count?

*What are the resort and ticket discounts like for the guests? We don't think we will be paying for travel and accommodations for guests, so we'd like to keep their expenses low.

*DF is Jewish and we would maybe like to have the chuppah to get married under...will Disney accommodate that?

*In the case of the "Wishes" wedding package (over 18 guests), is it hard to meet the minimum? I ask because we don't have a ton of money and want to have everything we want (good pictures, etc.) but not break the bank.

*Our wedding is not for another year...how far in advance do WDW weddings need to be booked?

Thanks in advance! :bride:

*DF is Jewish and we would maybe like to have the chuppah to get married under...will Disney accommodate that? I know of several brides that have. So I'm sure it's possible. Not sure if there is a extra cost or not.

If you want to add alot of extra's to the Escape and you think you will have more people you might want to consider this. When I was planning it, no it wasn't hard to meet the minimums. If you let your WP know your budget they will try hard to help you stay in it.

*Our wedding is not for another year...how far in advance do WDW weddings need to be booked? Depends on the location you want. Some can be booked a yr in advance, some 8 months. Best to call DFTW's and see.

Welcome and happy planning!

Thanks for your help...I'm a big planner so I'd rather start getting things booked sooner than later.

DF is wanting to invite immediate family and friends...so now we probably will have to upgrade to the Wishes package. I just want to have amazing pictures...that's my biggest need.

You might want to do a search on here under Photography. This is talked about alot. Some people used outside Photographers like Randy Chapman, Taz, Misty Moto, Gary Fox. Those have all be highly recommended. Alot also love Disney. Just dependes on what you want. Mouseweddings.com and disneyweddings.com have alot of informations and pics to help you make your choices.
