Wedding Planner

Hi Everyone does anyone know the average time it takes to get a wedding planner ? I have not heard anything from Disney and I am starting to worry we booked last month for our wishes wedding which is only 3 months away and I hate to be a pain but it seems to be taking a long time to hear anything.

If it were me I would call the sales consultant for an update. I assume you signed your LOA?

I heard from my planner exactly 2 weeks after I sent them the deposit, so I would call them, especially if you're only 3 months away.

I heard from my planner 3 weeks after they charged my card for our deposit. I would definitely contact them if it's been 2-3 weeks. DFTW is very busy this month but your wedding is soon- I would be on edge too!

Thanks everyone for the info. I took everyones advice and emailed the wedding sales rep this afternoon. I hope to hear from them soon. I signed my LOA on the 10th and they signed for the certified funds on the 14th so I am a bit freaked out when I start seeing posts where people who have weddings that are months and months out are being assigned wedding planners.

Ok I guess the email worked I was assigned a planner her name is Mary Williamson. Has anyone ever had her if so how is she?

I'm working with Meri now!! I just had my planning session on Friday and got to meet her she is awesome after months of emailing! She's funny, nice and very simple! She's awesome you'll love her. Always emails back right away and answers your questions to the T!

I also have Meri as my planner. I've only spoken to her once so far but she was very nice and helpful!

Thanks for the info do either of you know when she will be back from vacation? The call and email I received today came from someone else and they said she is on vacation. I hope it is not a long one I am running out of time.

Not sure, I didn't even know she was on vaca, but she has her assistant Alex and I heard she was also very good and very helpful.
