Wedding pictures from my daughter's Aug. 5 wedding at the Swan

I wanted to update my previous post on Beaute Speciale information. After checking with my youngest daughter, she said she *thinks* one lady's name was Stacey, and she is the one who did the hair that fell. The bride's hair held up pretty well, as did one bridesmaid's, and they were both done by the lady that wasn't Stacey. No one remembers her name, but there is a picture of her(well, her back) in the link I provded above. She is the one putting lip gloss on Kayli.

The Swan is beautiful, and the location is great for photos. We did not use JustMarry, even though the Swan will likely tell you they are the only people they work with. We used Michele Butler(just google Michele Butler events), who used to work for JustMarry. She was great; very reachable and responsive. I will try to post some useful budget information tonight about the Swan. We did not go with any of the offered "packages", but just started with a basic package and added what we wanted.

 

[2nd Time Bride]

2nd Time Bride-
It was so chaotic when the ladies arrived to do hair and makeup that I didn't even ask their names. They did introduce themselves, but I just can't remember the names. The taller lady that did Kayli's makeup and hair also did the hair of the only bridesmaid whose hair held up. The other lady did my hair and the hair of my two younger daughters. If you look at the photos, numbers 36 and 37 in particular show how much my younger daughters' hair fell. These photos were taken on the Boardwalk before the ceremony, approximately 30 minutes after we left the room. My 16-year-old(the tallest of the three on the left) has long hair, but it is not heavy or thick. My 20-year-old(on the right)has fine hair that is thinner than both of her sisters' hair. I have rolled her hair for dance and cheer competitions all her life, and never had it fall so rapidly, and I have prom pictures from 2-4 years ago with her hair professionally done that still had curl late into the evening. Now Kayli, the bride, has thick hair, and it held up better than the other two. It always took me twice as long to fix her hair as it did the other two because she had so much of it! Mark said the next day that he took out a thousand hair pins before they went to bed! The girls whose hair fell were disappointed, but luckily they all had faces pretty enough to pull it off. I just want to advise future brides and bridesmaids to make sure they ask for extra spray in the summer heat.

Thanks for the info! I am still unsure as to how I want to wear my hair so it makes me a bit nervous. I really didn't notice their hair until the second time I went thru the pics and was looking for it! I think all your girls looked amazing!!

Very beautiful pictures and very helpful since my fiance and I have just decided to do a Swan wedding next year!!!
