Does anyone know when rehearsals at the Wedding Pavillion are typically scheduled? I know that they are typically the day before the wedding, but are the appointment times the same times as for the weddings? If so, what are the typically times at the Pavillion. When I was last at WDW (in May), I know I saw 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 7:30pm...are those the only times?

Appreciate the help! :wave2:

All I know is that my wedding rehearsal is scheduled for noon at the Wedding Pavilion, the day before our wedding (knock on wood).

Your rehearsal would take place in one of the ceremony slots for the day. I think the weekend and weekday time slots are different. Also, keep in mind that Disney does not guarantee that your rehearsal will be in the WP until 30 days prior to your wedding as another wedding would get priority over a rehearsal.

Thanks, hmgolden...I appreciate the help! I didn't know about the 30 day rule (although it's pretty understandable). I'm trying to get just a preliminary itinerary together. Nothing too specific, of course.

I have 9 other siblings (very Irish, I suppose), who almost all have kids of their own now (I think we are up to 15 nieces and nephews)...they have all been bugging me for info...too many people and too little info for them to schedule their trips yet!

I want to mention that for a custom wedding, your rehearsal will not necessarily take place inside the Wedding Pavilion. I have read of rehearsals taking place in various locations – from a banquet room to a hotel room. It all depends upon scheduling and availability.

Yes I heard of this as well...it has it pluses and minuses I can imagine. You don't have the security of being there etc. But the wedding pavillion is set up like a normal chapel so rehearsing in another location is probably not that bad...plus you save the initial "ooh ahhh how beautiful" for the day of your wedding!

Excellent point, Pixie08, and I have read of a few couples who have stated exactly that. They wanted to save the Oooh's and Aaaah's for their wedding (kind of like why some brides don't want to let their grooms see them in their wedding gown before the ceremony).

My rehearsal was not at the Wedding Pavilion (it was booked during the afternoon/evening before my wedding). It was held in one of the smaller ballrooms at the GF Convention Center. It worked out perfectly. Of course, it’s not as pretty as the WP, but since it’s just a rehearsal and not the “real deal” it’s OK. :)
