We are planning an intimate wedding for may/june 2007 but are unsure about the location and times.
Does anybody know at what times the Pavilion performs weddings.
Ideally we are planning an Epcot photo shoot and then our wedding after, or an evening wedding with Wishes fireworks in the background.

I don't know if they change due to month and/or day of the week, but I was told 2:30 and 5:00 when I asked about a Tuesday in December.

We are getting married on a Wednesday in November at 12 noon.
Will the Epcot photoshoot not be at dawn like the MK one?

Out of curiosity more than anything, but are you planning on having an Epcot photo shoot in your wedding attire? I haven't come across anyone doing that... that would be really cool!

For an Intimate wedding, I don't think there are any locations available for a ceremony with the Wishes fireworks in the background. But you can always plan a dinner afterwards at the Cali Grill and watch the fireworks from there. Or you can also host an Illuminations dessert party.

There are timing restrictions for Intimate weddings - particularly for the Wedding Pavillion. If you haven't already, give DFTW a call, your date is within the 1 year window and you can book your date and time now. And they will be able to best answer your questions regarding availability.

I've got mine for 2pm on a Monday in December. I was told by Virgin that the WP times are:

8am 10am 12noon 2pm 4pm 6pm.

According to the Disney Weddings Intimate Website, you can have a photo shoot at Epcot world showcase for $550.
You have to be finished before the World Showcase opens at 11:00am though.
The idea would be to have the photo shoot done (in wedding attire) early in the morning at United Kingdom and then proceed to the Wedding Pavilion to get married.

There are some lovely places to have photo's taken in Epcot. I personally prefer Italy and France.

Thanks for all your advice, we are a bit overwhelmed with the preparation
Does anyone think that its a bad idea to have the photos at epcot before the wedding are we tempting fate (seeing the bride before the wedding?)

You mean your DF hasn't SEEN you yet? ;)

I am not going to let my htb see me in my dress before the ceramony. I want a cinderella moment and get it captured by the photo's.

I'm so confused - maybe they're changing the times for the WP next year??? When I asked Virgin (obviously provisionally at this stage) for afternoon of Tues 11th Dec 2007 she came back to me with 2:30 or 5pm.

Can I ask what your time plan for the day is?

I believe the WP times previously posted are accurate. We are having ours in the WP on a Thursday at 12:00 in July of 2007. Those were the time options we were given. Perhaps if you were only given 2 times the others are already reserved.

Dee Slack,

I went for the 2pm slot as it gives us both time to get ready and not such an early star. Plus the sun is at a nice point then and is not too hot. In December, if I remember right, the sun starts to go down at about 6-7pm.

After the ceramony we have a cake cutting and champers reception at the GF and then after that I don't know yet.

I am going to call Virgin Weddings this week and try and sort out what we are doing afterwards.

This was a bit last minute for us.

It is not $550.00 for a honeymoon package not in wedding attire.

My apologies. I'll edit my previous post to remove the incorrect info.

The even times are correct, as I was told by my EM. We have December 21 (a Thursday) at 4 pm...

I believe times differ for intimate and custom weddings....this could be why people are having conflicting info?

Are you planning and intimate or custom wedding?
