I'm torn... I feel as though the WP is so beautiful by itself, but also but that I would love to have flowers at the ceremony.

I found a photo I love of the WP with a white runner and white rose petals down the aisle, which is going to be around $400 (if I get the runner from someplace other than Disney). But I don't know if that would be worth it, as you can probably only see the aisle decor in photos taken from the door.

I was also looking into some arrangements near the altar, as we are not having bridesmaids/groomsmen so I'm concerned with the space looking too empty, but this is going to be around $400 also.

I'd love to have both, but is the price worth it? Would you get both of these, one over the other, or neither?

Also, does anyone know what happens with the arrangements after the ceremony if you're having an Escape wedding? I know that they can be used at a reception, but since we are not having one, can we put them in our hotel room?

I know that Disney has said the aisle petals run from $250-$500. It all depends on how much petals you'd like.

I personally am not all that fond of the green carpet so I'm looking in to SOMETHING to help keep the focus off it but honestly you're right, the WP is beautiful on it's own. The other thing you could do would be the cylinder vases fill with water, rose petals, and topped with a floating candle. They add some decor but aren't as expensive as the aisle runner and petals combined. idk just some thoughts

I didn't have anything except our unity candle and some petals on the alter table.

I really don't think it needs anything. To me the building is beautiful and the view is beautiful.

I went back and forth for the last few weeks about this. The aisle petals range from $200, $700, and $1000 depending on the amount of coverage you want. The aisle runner was $260+tax. Ultimately, we decided to do 2 floral arrangements at the front of the WP. For an escape wedding, they send you pictures of decorating packages that you can have (all of which were WAY outside of our budget), but we saw some columns with floral arrangements that we really liked in that picture and asked if we could have just 2 of those columns with arrangements...it's going to be about $225 and that's with a different kind of vase than was pictured...because those vases in the picture were going to be around $300. Rosie was WONDERFUL at working with us to get within our budget and incorporating the things we wanted.
Also - just to note, they charge a $25 fee to have floral arrangements moved to a different location after - BUT you do have the option to decline this fee and have one of your guests move them for you.
My fiancee gave me the option between more decor, or the videography package...and we chose the videography package because it's something we'll have forever. The WP is just so pretty even without all the "stuff" in it. We are also doing petals on the table where our sand ceremony stuff (that we bought online) will be.
Good luck deciding! Just know that Disney seems very willing to work with your budget to get you the most of what your $ will allow! :)

We debated on spending money on decorations at the WP for our VR this past April. Instead we spent the extra money on upgrading our photography package. I'm so glad I did! We did decorate the WP a little ourselves (well, our friends did it for us).

All we had were bows on the pews (that I got at the dollar store) and on the altar table we had flameless candles on crystal candle holders and a carriage pumpkin that I decorated with red & white roses & mini lights. It was just what we needed.

I personally am not a fan of asile runners. I've seen too many brides / wedding party trip while walking on them.
We got married last year at the WP and only had one MOH and BM so I too worried about it looking stark.
With Rosie's (florist) suggestion we just had two pedistals on either side of the alter with a vase and fresh cut flowers in our wedding colours. We then gave the two arrangements to each mother
On the alter, we just had the unity candle with the taper candles and some loose petals.
The nice touch about the two pillars is all the photography of us during the ceremony had some nice colours with the arrangements on either side of us. If we placed flowers on the alter DH and I and the minister would have been blocking them anyway.
