Wedding party / Guest List Opinions Please

Hi everyone I've been lurking around here for awhile gaining lots of information, but now I need some assistance.
We are planning on getting married in May of 2006 at the WP. My wedding party consists of 1 MOH, 4 Bridesmaids, 1 flowergirl, and the equivalent groomsmen. That will give us a total of 12 people in our wedding party, excluding my groom and I. My question is, do you think this is a big wedding party, if we only have 35 guests coming?

I don't think that's too large of a wedding party. I think it sounds great!

Hello! Congratulations on your wedding! I don't think that's too big for a wedding party at all. The beautiful thing about your wedding day is just that...it's YOUR day! You should be able to do anything you want without worrying about what other people think. Go with your heart and do what makes you and your fiance happy.

No, your wedding party sounds great! Can I come?!? =) Just teasing! Speaking as a former maid of honor (for tooooo many weddings from all of my very married friends now) I've been in weddings that have had 40+ attendants to just myself and a groomsman....so go for it, have fun and enjoy!

no that's not too many in the wedding party, it's about the same as us!! We have 38 guests and 14 in the wedding party.
