Wedding Night!

I'm just wondering if anyone had their room especially decorated for their wedding night. I was looking at some of the options, and the "From Mickey and Minnie With Love" package looks really great, I was thinking I might surprise DF with it. They sprinkle rose petals on you bed, leave chocolates, a dozen roses, a photo frame, and personalized towels, as well as a spa "kit." Did anyone have something special done to their room for their wedding night?

It says on the website that it's $275. I was thinking of doing this for the wedding night as well, but my sister thinks it's too much money...I'm still on the fence, I think it could be really amazing having that little touch of magic at the end of the night.

My DH surprised me with having our room done with the From Mickey and Minnie with Love package. I think he got with our WP to get it taken care of but I honestly have no idea how he found out about them.

They quoted MORE than that?! Hmm...I was having issues with spending $275 for some towels and rose petals, but even more than that is just ridiculous to me!If it's possible, can you let us know if they'll honor the $275 for you? Good luck!

I am doing this for my wedding night! It is planned through your disney florist. It was $265 plus a $9 delivery fee! I can't wait! We are doing our Magic Kingdom photo session the morning of our wedding so this will be great to end the day with!

My bridesmaids had the spa thing done to our room. We came back from the dessert party and there was a path of rose petals leading into the room, a heart in rose petals on the bed, flowers, a framed picture, towels with the spa kit with out name and battery operated candles. It was really cool!

my fiance proposed in disney and also had my best friend come down to suprise me too, she got the from mickey and minnie with love for us when we got back to our hotel. it was awesome, definitley worth it. but, when we went to go into our hotel that night, our key to the world cards wouldn't let us in, so we had to go to the front desk, and someone had to come let us in and fix our cards! so keep that in mind, it might spoil the suprise.

I saw the price and thought it was too much money. Money that we could spend on the honeymoon so I skipped it. If my DH had done it for me I would have liked it, but for me to do it for him I didn't think he would have apreciated it as much. To be honest, by the end of the day when you are tired and have just had a busy DFTW day, more Disney stuff in your room may look cute for the first few minutes, but not almost $300 worth.

We didn't have anything like that on our wedding night, but I gotta say I think it would have been nice. We were really tired when we finally got back to our room and all but passed out, but I think that some rose petals and chocolates would have been romantic and divine. If you're worried about the money but still want magic, try asking the florists to quote prices on something less extravagant, like rose petals and candles or even just some wine and chocolate.

Yeah I was thinking about that too, and I'm sure it would be a lot cheaper, or I could have my MOH or someone do it, but I don't really want anyone to have to worry about it. And the spa kit and towels sound really nice especially sicne we plan on spending the whole next day just relaxing in the room, and I think the towels would be a really nice souviner! We will see how much money we have at the time and then decide.
