Wedding night dinner - recommend a romantic place

Another vote for Victoria and Albert's.

Hollywood Brown Derby is dark, and wood-paneled, which I suppose can equal romantic, but people will be in there eating with shorts and flip-flops unless it's a particularly cold winter day.

Of course, romantic is what you make of it. Shorts and flip-flops is romantic if that's what you both like :).

I believe you can order Private Dining for a few select private areas at The Contemporary and Grand Floridian. You get a table in a secluded area (just the two of you)

I'd go to the Wedding and Honeymoon board and ask this question!

Cali Grill is NOT romantic....very loud....lots of obnoxious children.......IMO. Citricos is a much more romantic restaurant. The food and service are incredible and it is a much, much, much quieter restaurant. ::MinnieMo

I have to disagree with you here, though I can understand why You think that. If you are seated in the main room, it Is very loud and not romantic. However, on the last night of our honeymoon-which was also Christmas night-we ate at California Grill and we were seated in the Wine Room. It was small, quiet, intimate, and incredibly romantic. We were only surrounded by couples-kids all seemed to be in the main room. Most romantic night of our trip, aside from our wedding lol:lovestruc The food was amazing, service was fantastic. We watched Illuminations from the Wine room and then went out to the observation deck for Wishes:cloud9:

Bistro in Paris (upstairs) or Narcoossee's for the fireworks. :cloud9:

We were also seated in the wine room on our last visit. Rude, loud, obnoxious children who were running around and not staying at their table. We had a table by the window and had several children at our table more than at their own. I would not call it romantic by any stretch of the imagination. I'm glad your experience was much better than ours was. ::MinnieMo
