Okay we are having our VR at a farm close to home because nobody would go to Florida for it (they are very anti disney). We wanted to have a few Disney touches to it, but since we are going w/ a kind of chic rustic kind of look its been hard to figure out how to do that. SO, we thought...okay we can add Disney music for the ceremony. But, we cant figure out what to use. I am having a hard time deciding on the music for me (processional I guess), and we are disagreeing on the recessional music. We thought we wanted Disney for that, but now we are having 2nd guesses.

So what did you all use? We still have almost a year, but DH will be in Afgan for most of that time, so we want to get most of this stuff decided on and taken care of b4 he leaves.

Ive seen other ppl post about their disney music used in ceremonies and these ones have come up:

When you wish upon a star
Beauty & the beast
A whole new world
Ever ever after (enchanted)
Over the rainbow
Can you feel the love tonight
A dream is a wish your heart makes

Hope this helps, Eve

Our recessional is "Married Life" from the Pixar movie Up; of course, we aren't playing the sad part. I just love that song. It's so sweet and whimsical.

I've been thinking about having a Disney-style wedding (I'm not even engaged, but it's fun to think about) since most of my family couldn't afford to go to Florida and one thing I came up with is having different tables be different Disney couples. Have table number holders and put a picture of each couple in each of them.

Like one table would be Aladdin and Jasmine, another would be Prince Philip and Aurora, etc. You could do something like that. My original idea was having a significant object from Disney movies, like the rose from Beauty and the Beast, the lamp from Aladdin, etc., but that would be too complicated. I hope my family and my future husband's family and our friends will recognize the couples. :rotfl:

My cousin played some Disney songs. I think "When You Wish Upon a Star" was one of them.

I agree with evey's list. :) I would add "Once Upon a Dream" and "Dreams Do Come True in New Orleans". I think that's the name of the last song in The Princess and the Frog before the credits.

Here is our list:

Bridal Party - A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes - "Cinderella"
Bride - Canon in D by Pachelbel
Recessional - Spring by Vivaldi
Cake Cutting - Bella Notte "Lady and the Tramp"
First Dance - So This is Love "Cinderella"
Father/Daughter & Mother/Son - Beauty & the Beast "Beauty & the Beast"

You can also look up the album "disney's fairytale wedding" on iTunes. They have plenty of instrumental disney music to pick from! That's what I'm using for my wedding in May!!:lovestruc
