FYI girls! Brevard County issued my wedding license and I paid a total of 93.50 to receive it by mail! I get married in 3 1/2 weeks!!! :bride:

I am glad to hear that another bride was able to do this. I mailed my initial documents about 5 weeks ago, and hadn't received anything in response. I called for verification a couple of days ago, and she said my paperwork was in the mail...

Hopefully I will get it soon.... :wizard:

Please post the details on how to go about doing this. I just can't see paying an extra $100 for someone else to get the license for us, but I hate to have to do it once we're down ther.e

that is awesome...yes please post some more info. this would save us a ton of time!

Go to the Brevard Couny Clerk of Court Website and go to the marriage lisence section. There will be a forms tab for you to click on. This will have 1.) the instructions on what to do 2.) the initial forms for you to fill out.

After you mail the first forms, they will send you papers to get notorized. Just send those forms back promptly, and then they will send you your lisence!!! After that, mail it back right after the wedding and boom! you're legally married!

isn't it great???

wow thank you- I never knew! this will save me hours the day we arrive in Orlando!

You can get the license issued in Brevard County, even though WDW is located in Orange County?

Your license can be issued from any county and it's good at any other county in the state.

Is the county name on the marriage license, or is it just a general Florida license?

magicalcouple - Thank you SO much for posting this information. This will be a huge stress and time saver!

mhcueball2 - our weddings are just 2 days apart - I guess that makes mine just 5 months and 18 days away - how exciting!!!!
Where are you staying? Perhaps we'll see each other that week!

Maybe...we are staying at POR. Maybe we can 'sneak a peek' at your wedding from a distance ;)

:)

SRUAlmn- just wanted to let you know i spoke with rev. jack he said additional copies of the marriage license is $2.50 each and i can just put the money in with the marriage license the day of the wedding and he will take care of it. so depending on who is performing your ceremony you would do the same. i havn't heard anything yet on how long it takes for the whole process of getting the marriage license through Brevard but if i find anything out i will let you know :goodvibes

We appeared in person and our license was good for at least 2 months.

Do you have the website saved by any chance? :)
