Hi Guys,
We are currently trying to decide our hotels for our wedding trip and Disneymoon and I'd love to hear what other brides chose.
We will probably be in WDW for 14 or 15 nights.
This is my current plan.
Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun - Wilderness Lodge
Mon (Jack) - Either stay in WL room or maybe go elsewhere with his mest man/family. He isn't decided yet.
Mon (me), Tue, Wed - Grand Floridian (Wedding is the Tuesday, so my BMs and I will stay in the room on the Monday then Jack and I for the next 2 nights)
Thu - next Thu or Friday - Bay Lake Tower.
I know it seems a little odd that we are going for all MK resort area hotels. But Jack isn't keen on staying at YC/BC/BW for some reason, so they are out. I am tempted to stay at AKL for the first 4 nights as I'd like my parents to be in the same resort as us, and they will book wherever we advise them to. I know they'd adore AKL, so we might stay there as opposed to WL, but seeing as it's the only WDW resort we've stayed at I feel a little silly stayinig there again when there are so many more to try.
I see the WL has honeymoon rooms in the CL, are these prefereable to regular CL rooms at other resorts?
Also, it looks like we are going to have to forego our free room night as our guests would not get the best deal booking through our room block, as Disney UK has some really great offers, and I don't want to trick them our of free dining or free room nights for us to get a night at the Floridian. Have many of you not been able to fulfill your room night guarantees? I must admit to not fully understanding the room block. I dont think it's going to apply to us really as most of our guests will choose packages. It's a shame Disney don't include these for us!
