Wedding gift for first timers to WDW?

A young couple I know are getting married in early May and planning a trip to Florida/WDW for their honeymoon. They have a six year old daughter and have never been to the parks. They do not have much money, and are only planning one day, maybe two at the most to spend in the park(s). They are driving down so they will have a car and are staying off site. I would like to give them something Disney related as a wedding gift and was wondering what others might suggest would be a fun idea. Price range around $300. Should I get them passes? Character meal? I thought I'd toss it out there to see what others come up with! Thanks!

PS- I know it's late for planning dinners etc, but have fingers crossed that it will work out!

A character meal or signature meal, if you can get it, would be great, with bride and groom mouse ears and princess mouse ears for their daughter? Or, passes for all of them + mouse ears?

How about gift cards to spend while they are there? Maybe a copy of the Unofficial Guide? I also like the idea of the bride and groom mouse ears.

Disney dollars? How about a cake delivery with a special keepsake cake topper? A photography session? Dinner at Cinderella's Table? I'm sure they would appreciate anything.

If they haven't purchased their tickets yet, that would be a very nice gift. I would also consider a Disney gift card, perhaps in a basket with bride/groom ears plus minnie ears for their daughter. They also have some lovely Disney glass frames on disneystore.com that can be inscribed to commemorate their wedding and/or trip.

Bride and groom Mickey and Minnie Christmas tree ornament and gift cards, maybe with a map of the park with notes on your favorite must-dos? We got an ornament on our honeymoon and love putting it on our tree every year!

Reservations for dinner at a signature restaurant, like California Grill, during the time the fireworks go off.

i would also recommend the gift cards, as they may already have passes and/or plans for meals. And who knows what kind of schedule they keep with their 6 year old. Dinner is nice, but my kiddo doesn't stay up super late - even on vacation, because tired meltdowns are no fun for anyone. So unless you know their schedule and tastes, it's hard to book something specific for them.

Great ideas and thoughts everyone!
I am going down in a few weeks myself and will certainly get them an ornament! Love that idea! Will get maps etc too!
Since they are driving I will make up a busy book of things to do on the ride for their daughter.
I checked into a few ADR's and no luck due to the late notice.
Loreni, It's been a while since mine was that age and thinking back, your advice about meltdowns, early bedtimes and unpredictable scheduling is spot on!

If they are bringing their 6 year old daughter I would try to get a meal at Cinderella's Castle. The rest I would put on a Disney gift card.
