What favors did you give to your guest for attending you wedding? I'm having a hard time deciding on the perfect wedding favor that will let them take home a piece of Disney back home with them (in my case a piece of Disney cruise) & something to remind them of our fun and great wedding. I'm sure that's the point of a favor :rotfl: buttt coming up with an idea for favors seem to be a task all on its own :laundy:

thanks :upsidedow

We hired a caricature artist and each guest got to take home a caricature of themselves...plus we used Mickey hats as placeholders at the tables...so they had those too. DFTW did up labels for the backs of the ears, and for the caricature tubes that read "Kelly and Adrian's Fairytale Wedding, September 22, 2010", and the background for the sticker was a daisy - it was beautiful!

We got everyone Mickey Mouse head frames. We wanted to do a little more since our guests flew all the way down to be there for our wedding.

This way people were able to put a picture of whatever they wanted from their trip to our wedding. Since most people came down early and went to the parks, there were a ton of pictures they could use.

We made Mickey and Minnie head chocolate pops, every place setting got a pair.

We're currently debating what to do. We want to do the embroidered mickey ear hats but they are kind of expensive. We're also toying with the mini gift card bracelets from Food and Wine festival since that will be occuring. One is more practical, but the ears are way more fun! I think we will be caving and getting the ears.

A disney christmas ornament is something that they could cherish and remember what fun your wedding is every year as they decorate their christmas tree. You could mail them to the ship in advance so that you don't have to worry about packing them in your luggage.

I am thinking about the ornament idea or making a photo frame. I know another DCL bride did beach towels andI thought those were pretty cool.

has anyone used their 'welcome bags' as their favor? does that seem tacky?:confused3 i don't plan to give them anything cheap.. maybe have the bags (they look like beach bags) embroidered with the Disney cruise line symbol and their names and then fill them with fun cruise stuff? what you think?

For our wedding, we're giving everyone a Mickey Head Bottle Opener ~ they are about 8.00 each and can be ordered through the Floral department.

I think my decision will be based on the final cost of the welcome bags. My DF wants to do travel coffee mugs with our wedding logo, but I think the cost will be slightly higher because this would end up being a per person gift, rather than doing a picture frame which could be a family gift...IMO

My fiance and I are doing personalized sweatpants! We're going to have our names and wedding date written down the leg. They're about $10-12 per person, but SO worth it! We also figure everyone will be tired the day after the wedding, and so we can all wear our sweats to the park the next day.

You are right, It is pretty much difficult to select best wedding favours for your guests. But I got some thing special here weddingcufflinkcompany.co.uk

If you do this and want a GREAT way to "wrap" it (and can mail them or have a way to get them to your wedding location) you can make a box using this template from Lauren Meador (just $5):

Here is an example of what it looks like with an ornament inside:

These would be such an amazing favor if you use cardstock that matches the colors and/or theme of your wedding. This would take some time to make each box...but so worth it for the end result!
