wedding ears on the boat?

we'll be gettin' hitched in wdw and will also be crusin' as part of our two and a half week honeymoon/my brithday trip. we'll be getting the mickey abd minnie wedding ears, but didn't know if these would be appropriate to wear on the Wonder?
I was figuring to wear them at embarkation, the golden mickeys (gotta dress up for that show ) and at match your mate (i realy wanna do that show), but didn't know if it was like WDW, in that people wear them to dinner?
also, do sudden wind gusts happen on board? i'd hate to have my ears flying overboard.

There was a couple on our 8/14 cruise who wore their Mickey ears all the time. Even had tee shirts advertising that they were just marrried. If you want to wear your Mickey ears go ahead.

On my first cruise in '02 on the Wonder, we saw a couple one evening in the elevator with their wedding ears on. We thought it was great and congratulated them!

Go for it! You'll sure get lots of attention from the servers and staff!

Also a couple on the 6/19 Magic that wore theirs around the ship quite a bit!

Go for it. At a minimum I would wear them like you suggested. They just may be what gets you picked for match your mate. Also be sure to get at least one formal portrait done in them. It will be a great rememberence of your honeymoon.

I agree with the other posters....we always see newlyweds wearing their "ears".....and YES....there are sudden gusts of wind up on deck 10...

My son lost his favorite baseball cap in the afternoon on Deck 10....so...if you are out walking on Deck 10 anytime day or night hold onto your ears!!!

Oh, I should also add that we wore them at the terminal, and we got sent to the much shorter line for Castaway Club members who had sailed with DCL previously, even though this was our first cruise.

They sell those hats on the ship, so they are absolutely appropriate to wear while on your cruise!!

Ears are always appropriate. On deck, though, a few bobby pins may be useful.
