Wedding ears on anniversary?

My husband and I are lucky enough to celebrate our 8-year year wedding anniversary in Disney World this year. I’m just wondering what you guys think about people wearing wedding ears to celebrate their anniversary. Do you think it’s only for the newly weds? Or can anyone who wants to celebrate their wedding day wear them, no mater if it was last week or eight years ago? Curious to see what others options are…

I have even seen little girls wearing the bride ears, even though they obviously were like, 8, and not married.

I'm anxious to know what others think too! We leave on Sunday to celebrate for our 15th anniversary. I wanted to do it last year but I was too chicken.

we are in the midst of planning a trip for our 15th anniversary in Dec. I planb on wearing the ears at least part of the week...25 is a LOOOONG time, & it'll be fun too! I'm trying to think of something "special" to do! I'm thinking of a fireworks cruise.

As for me, I say go for it!!!! It's too bad that they didn't have something to show that you are celebrating your anniversary. DH and I decided to renew our vows on our 10th anniversary in WDW. Family plans didn't allow us to go to WDW to get married (in-laws and extended family members are so demanding!!!!) Have a great time to all of you celebrating your anniversaries there!!!!

I know they have a Happy Anniversary pin. You can buy it from Disney Merchandising at (407) 363-6200. They are $6.95 each. They are of Mickey and Minnie dancing with Happy Anniversary on top. They are really cute.

Yes, purchase the ears and wear them with pride!!!

Many newlyweds and anniversary couples wear them!

You can also get a special "magical celebrations" pin at guest services at all of the parks (they're free) and they are a nice souvenir!

We will celebrating our first anniversary in Disney in May - I was too chicken last year to wear my ears. I think this year we will - I read this post and have made up my mind to wear them. Thanks.

I can't remember, but is there enough space on the ears to perhaps write in with a glittery puff pen--or have embroidered--say, an anniversary number?

I think it's wonderful wearing the ears for an anniversary!
wear them with pride! Just about anyone can get married--how many of them reach 1/15/20 or more years!

I'm pretty sure they won't embroider them...

but I have known of some folks writing on the ears part with paint pens.

However, if the lady decides on the headband style ears (which are easier to keep on) you can't write on those at all (they're covered with sequins).

Go to MGM to the embroidery place (name escapes me) they will embroider a patch and put it on the wedding ears for you. That's what they did for us in 2004 while we celebrated our honeymoon.

I say wear your ears with pride! Celebrate you ability to beat the odds and stay together.

last on 45 anniversary I wore the ears and with felt tip marker wrote 45 each ear. We got stopped alot people asking have been really married for 45years. We are planning renewing vows 50th WDW. We did nothave a big wedding, and plan going all out the 50th.

thank you. I am started to get excited our 50th. we are planning having our whole family. Prqying nothing happens to prevent this.

My DH and I wore ours on our 2nd Annv. along with t shirts I had made for our wedding.
To be honest I think we got more magical moments for our annv. than our wedding. WE also got seraded by dapper dans at Tony's during our annv. dinner.

In today's world that you have stayed together should be celebrated!
