Finally got my dress in and I'm adding a crinolin!

I lost 100 lbs for this dress and im doing another 20 for safe measure (8/20 done and 2 and a bit months)
Its Ambrosia by Maggie Sottero in Alabaster. My mother works at a Maggie Sottero bridal store that sells Dessy, Jordan, Alexia, Claudia and of course lovely miss Maggie dresses! So it was special to have my mom as my consultant!

I also had custom made sleeves prepared that just arrived yesterday they are tool with matching beadwork from the bodice !

going through this thread, i have become slightly obsessed with the dresses with color accents. i already browsed the alfred angelo site - any other designers who do these types of dresses particularly well that you could suggest? when i google it, i get some weird things lol. thanks in advance!

Maggie Sottero has a few.
Alfred Angelo has the custom colour thing as you know.
Claudia has a few
and I've seen a few Alexia as well

A suggestion may be to go to Kleinfelds site just to use their inventory and customize your search and see whats out there for colour accents!

I had gotten a dress by them that has red on it. She has other dresses. What color accent are you looking for? If interested i have that mori lee dress with red accents that i am willing to sell. Never been worn.

littleangie - i really like blue. red is nice, also, but blue or purple is more of what i was thinking. i'm also not near the wedding planning stage yet, so i wouldn't want to waste your time asking to see yours. i appreciate the offer! hope you find someone who wants them
