Wedding Dresses From Hell

A friend sent me a link to a site that features "questionable" wedding dress choices. Here a few of the horrors to be found at http://www.visi.com/~dheaton/bride/the_bride_wore.html (click on the "what were they thinking" list for the strangest dresses).

Note: The picture of the bird bride has been removed, as it was noticed her top was see-trough and we could see a bit more of the bride than we might have expected. Sorry about that folks. I would have never posted the picture here had I noticed.

I like the bird woman. It looks like she is being attacked by rabid pigeons on her wedding day!
:earseek::earseek::earseek::earseek:

Well,

the shower curtain look would be affordable, LOL.

herc.

LOL! It looks like the make-up from hell, too! :earseek:

The first one would be okay if you scooped the neck and got rid of the Pigeons.

i sort of like the first dress minus the birds.

Is that first dress transparent? Either I see a little more in the chest region than any bride should show her guests or it's just a shadow.

I don't know why designers create dresses like that. People don't honestly by those dresses - or do they?

Oops! I think you're right! Sorry about that folks! I honestly didn't notice that. I will pull that picture off the thread. Its a pity, it was one of the funnier ones here, but the DIS is probably not a good place for such a photo.

Aside from the fact that the dresses are bizarre, I always have to cringe at "high-fashion" wedding gown pictures these because the "brides" always look so darn angry, snooty, or sad. I wish they could at least get the models to look happy, like real brides usually do in their wedding photos! (Not sure anyone could look happy wearing those weird gowns, though)

ROFL!!!!

That website is HYSTERICAL!! I as laughing so hard the dogs came in to make sure I was OK..

Thanks for the pick me up!

When my sister was planning her wedding, I was looking through some magazines with her. I saw an ad for wedding gowns; the dresses were nice but the models looked awful. Their hair was all frizzed out and messy and they had on heavy dark eye makeup, etc. They were standing in the middle of this desolate urban landscape; concrete rubble and that sort of thing. My thought was, "You too can look like a ravaged crack wh*re on your wedding day!" It was hilarious.

All I can say is......

Oh my I hope when DD grows up, she has more sense!
