Wedding dress-2nd marriage

Help ladies! I have been looking for a wedding dress for our wedding coming up at the end of May. This is my 2nd marriage, I am 41. I cannot decide on anything!!! I have zero idea what kind of dress I want other than the fact that I don't want the huge ball gown and train. I would love it if anyone has pictures of dresses they wore for their 2nd wedding. Just for ideas to get me started.
Thanks ladies! So far this is what I'm leaning towards. They have it in petite, but I want to show it to a seamstress just in case I need it shortened. I love the blush color!

Great dress for a formal evening wedding whether first time or not.

I wore a bridesmaid dress. Very simple. Ordered it in white.

HOWEVER, I bought it because it was what I wanted to wear (to our simple, family-reunion style wedding on our farm). Had I wanted a big ball gown with a train I would have no qualms about buying that.

Buy and wear what makes you feel beautiful and happy. Any color. Any style. Go for it!

I'm pretty sure my mom has hemmed a fully sequined dress for my niece before so an experienced seamstress could probably do this one. That's great it's offered in petite. I see it says it is 68 inches from shoulder (whether you have a petite or a regular selected- I'm guessing that's the regular length). Would be nice to find out the actual measurement for the petite. You might be able to ask before ordering.

OP, the one you posted is beautiful! If I were looking for a gown today, that one would certainly be on my radar!

I look absolutely awful in white/ivory/pastels, so when I remarried in October 2011, I chose an eggplant purple dress. Found it in the mother-of-the-bride/groom section. Less than $200, too. Our photographer, who looked at me sideways when I told her I was wearing purple, later told us that she was very happy that I didn't wear white, as it would have washed me out completely.

I thought the same thing about ordering online, but Azazie was VERY good, great customer service, well-made dresses (I work part-time as a seamstress and was quite satisfied with the workmanship), exactly as depicted and ordered. I do not believe they subcontract the order to a variety of Chinese workshops, as many companies do. They also do not sell dresses that are copies of the current bridal designer styles, as many of the Chinese companies do and at dirt-cheap prices; they have their own styles and dresses, which seem to run from abound $99-$189 (for bridesmaids dresses). Being able to do an at-home try-on sealed the deal for us.

( I actually learned from reading online that the Chinese companies can promise designer dresses for so little money because they subcontract the order, not just to "businesses" but often to individual workers. If you order 6 dresses, it's possible that they are made by 6 different people, in 6 different locations. Quality can be awful, colors don't match, and returns/customer service doesn't exist. I, too, would be very careful when ordering from many of these companies, and would search online carefully for reviews before ever considering them.)

My daughter has gotten a dress or two from them also and they have been good.

I don't know if this is your style at all, but they carry a range of styles and you may find something that fits what you are looking for. https://www.bhldn.com/

I *LOVE* BHLDN and was going to suggest that. If my daughter ever gets married, I'm happy that we both love their stuff so much. I think they really pretty/unique/different dresses.

I didn’t get my dress there, but I bought some accessories for my wedding there and they were gorgeous.

I like a lot of dresses on this search, especially the top 3 rows. If/when I get married again I plan to wear something simple and elegant. Meghan Markle's reception dress is good inspiration for me. No ball gown, no over the top embellishments, etc. Plain, simple, elegant.

I wore a gold, long off the shoulder dress but you have to wear whatever makes you happy. Congratulations and I hope you have a lovely day

We are getting married at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. I'd like to have a longer dress and the feeling of being a bride. But just not too over the top.

I just did some quick looking, and from what you describe, I really like something like this!
Long, elegant, classic, simple, no lace, chiffon, or pretense. (just not sure about the open back!)
But, this would be the type of thing that I might be looking at!
Def. pair with some bit 'statement' rhinestone' diamond jewelry!

I am vertically challenged as well, and I don't know how this would work for you.
Aside from having it hemmed, of course....
